BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR SCAMS
Please be diligent in protecting your accounts from scammers. There is an increase of scammers posing as investigators of financial institution fraud. They explain you should withdraw cash or wire money to a ‘safe’ account outside of your financial institution. In recent situations the scammer asks their victim to deposit cash into a crypto-currency machine.
CTCU is a secure and sound financial institution. Government agencies will never contact a member to participate in any investigation of fraud. Please contact the credit union yourself at 847-662-2050 and ask for a Branch Manager if you have questions or concerns.
CTCU & Our Members Give Back to Our Community
We proudly delivered clothing and food from our holiday donation drives to The Warren Township Center Food Bank and Midwest Veterans Closet. A check was donated to The Northern Illinois Food Bank from money collected at each branch. For every $1 donated, Northern Illinois Food Bank is able to provide $8 worth of groceries to help a neighbor thrive. THANK YOU to all that donated.

CTCU Welcomes Jeff Garcia to the Lending Team
Please join us in welcoming Jeff Garcia to the Community Trust Credit Union (CTCU) Mortgage team. Jeff comes to CTCU with over 15 years of experience in the mortgage industry. Jeff’s vast knowledge of the mortgage process will allow him to cater to members through the entire CTCU mortgage experience. Jeff enjoys getting to know the members and finds it rewarding walking them through the process of achieving homeownership. When Jeff was asked what he enjoys most about his role
he said “whether it's their first home or forever home, I take personal satisfaction in helping them through the journey of home ownership.”

Making a Difference in Our Community
We proudly presented the Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center Breast and Cervical Cancer Program a check for $1,135.00. CTCU donated money on behalf of each staff member that wore pink each Friday and Saturday during the month of October to help raise awareness and help the fight against Breast Cancer.
