Are you looking for a great way to earn higher interest rates on your money? Share Certificates from CTCU are the answer. Share Certificates are similar to 'Certificates of Deposit', or 'CDs', offered by banks and other financial institutions. Members earn a higher rate of interest for keeping funds on deposit for a specified term. Rates vary depending on the amount deposited and term selected.
Certificates require a minimum deposit of $1,000.00. Terms can range from 3 months to 5 years. Rates are higher than a regular savings account and provide you with a safe place to invest your money. We also offer IRA certificates in matching terms to meet your financial goals.

- Dividends can always be withdrawn without penalty from the current term.
- Dividends can be deposited into savings.
Requirements
- Must have primary savings account.
- Minimum deposit is $1,000.
- If funds are removed prior to term date, the following penalty applies on the amount withdrawn:
- 3 months interest on certificates of 12 months or less.
- 6 months interest on certificates of more than 12 months.
- Please note that penalty can effect principal (original deposit)
