Payroll Deduction
If your employer offers "payroll deduction" you can designate a specific amount of your paycheck to be directly deposited into a CTCU savings, checking or loan account. To apply for Payroll Deduction, simply contact your employer or payor to see if they offer the service. They should have the forms you need to complete.
Night Depository
CTCU's Night Depository is an easy and convenient way to have your transactions completed when you are unable to visit the credit union during business hours. CTCU's Night Depository is located on the outside of our Gurnee, and Grayslake North locations. Grayslake South has a mail slot you may use for overnight deposits. Deposits, loan payments, check orders are processed the next business day.
Safe Deposit Box
If you are looking for a safe place to store valuables and important documents protected from fire and theft, think about renting a safe deposit box. Different sizes available:

Renters are issued 2 keys with no numbers on them. Private viewing booth is available.
* Rental fees are paid annually (normally deducted from your account).
Wire Transfers
Wire Transfers are a convenient, fast, and safe way to send money electronically from one financial institution to another, in another town or state. Funds can be deducted from your CTCU account. Collected funds must be available including a $20.00 Western Union wire fee. Wires are typically done in large amounts ($500.00 or more). You will need the name, city and state, and routing number of the receiving bank and the name, address, account number of the receiving party. Wire requests must be made in person at a CTCU branch office, unless special arrangements have been made with the Head Teller in advance.
International wires are available for a $45.00 fee and funds are received within 1-2 weeks. Western Union International fees are $25.00 for amounts less than $500; $45 for amounts over $500, and wires are received the same day.
Notary Public & Signature Guarantee
At no cost to members CTCU offers the service of a Notary Public, a public official who attests signatures to make them legally authentic. It allows members to have documents legally notarized for authenticity. We also provide a Signature Guarantee service.
