Family banking choices expand in Lake Villa and Lindenhurst
Popular Lake County, IL Credit Union Begins Construction of Lake Villa Branch
(Lake Villa, IL September 17, 2007) A new, economical and local banking solution comes to the Lake Villa / Lindenhurst area with the construction of Community Trust Credit Union's newest location. Soon residents in these growing northern Lake County communities will enjoy the reduced fees and personal banking services available to Credit Unions members.
Groundbreaking for Community Trust's new branch location is set for September 25th 2007 (with a ceremony to begin at 2:00 PM) at the southwest corner of Deep Lake and Grass Lake Roads.
"Credit unions bring real choice to local families - especially today as bank mergers result in higher fees, and less service. That's not the case with Community Trust," explained Madeline Lipka, CTCU's President & CEO. "We are owned by our members, the people in this community. That translates into better service, and loan and savings plans tailored to the community."
Completion of the custom-built financial services facility is anticipated for April 2008, and will coincide with CTCU's 75th Anniversary of serving its member-owners throughout Northeastern, IL and Southern Wisconsin.
Designed to work in tandem with Community Trust Credit Union's other branches in Gurnee and Grayslake, CTCU's new Lake Villa Branch will feature:
- nearly 5,000 square-feet of teller, consulting, and office space;
- a Max Million Kids' Club area where children can learn about personal finance;
- a comfortable waiting area with coffee service;
- a four-lane Drive Up service facility with Commercial Lane; and
- a 24-hour ATM and Night Depository.
"Our goal at Community Trust Credit Union is to better serve our members, because they are also our owners," said Chief Administrative Officer Lynne Timmerman.. "What better way to serve them than to have a new location which is accessible and convenient?"
