FRAUD ALERTS:

Telephone Calls from CTCU

A small number of CTCU members have reported receiving a telephone call from a caller claiming to be from the Credit Union. The caller asks for the member's account number to secure the account. This call is fraudulent, and any information you provide could place your funds at risk.

Do not provide any account or member numbers to anyone who calls you. CTCU will NEVER request account numbers, or other account information when calling. If you believe that you may have provided account information to this caller, please contact the Credit Union immediately.

Email from Credit Union National Association (CUNA)

Please be aware that there is currently a fraudulent email circulating that appears to be from the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) asking for personal account information. Please delete this email, as it is fraudulent and a phishing scam. Contact the Credit Union if you have additional questions.

CUNA and Community Trust Credit Union will never solicit e-mails requesting your username, password, pin number, or other personal identity information.

At CTCU we want to empower you with the best information available to help safeguard your financial health. Here you will find the latest information on common financial safety issues, what you can do to protect yourself, and what to do if you've become a victim.

On the right we've identified certain security issues of which we advise all our CTCU members to take precautions.

Feel free to email or call us if you have any questions on these or other security issues.
